What are you breathing life into?

Just as when we reawaken a fire by gently blowing on its embers, we can blow on the cinders of our spirit to nourish our essential nature.
Here is a simple practice which requires nothing outside of yourself which focuses on illuminating the beauty already within you.
You can do this practice anywhere and at anytime, but it might feel especially supportive to be in a space which feels sacred for you. Listen to what essential quality wishes to grow within you - does your courage want to bloom, patience blossom or gratitude ripen? Perhaps simply your essential presence is calling you into deeper embodiment? Once you have connected with what you wish to tend to, begin to breathe naturally but generously. Imagine or visualise that with each inhale, you are fanning the flames of the energy you wish to ignite within you. Each abundant breath feeding this quality and helping to nurture its radiance. You become more and more full with this quality with each cycle of breath, your being beaming brightly. Feel yourself resplendent, warmed with the luminosity of your spirit.
It could be very helpful to notice throughout your day what you are breathing life into - it can be surprising to observe how often we are breathing into our fear, lack or doubt. The breath is incredibly powerful and sacred - it is a portal, a pathway and a presence. It is, perhaps, your greatest offering.
So, breathe to the brim and beyond.
Swell with the Love that you are.
Shine in the bright fullness of your being.
